Insurance for Landlords
Insurance for Landlords is a division of Mortgages for Business, the leading buy to let and commercial mortgage brokers. Mortgages for Business are an independent expert in Buy to Let and Commercial mortgages, managing the financing of single and multi property portfolios for thousands of UK investors. The Insurance for Landlords team arrange the insurance requirements of Mortgages for Business clients and additionally manage the direct enquiries for those clients who have arranged mortgages elsewhere.
Insurance for Landlords have access to the leading providers of landlord insurance for Commercial Owner Occupier, Commercial Investment, Residential Investment (Landlords Policies) or Residential Owner Occupier mortgages. Quotations are usually available on a same day basis unless specialist underwriting considerations are required. An extra facility exists for many categories of insurance for cover to be assumed with no application form.
Insurance for Landlords pride themselves in their ability to arrange most types of landlord insurance and provide a fast and accurate service. Many commendations have been received from existing clients who often come back to us to quote for additional properties.
Insurance for Landlords Team
Insurance for Landlords has a total of three advisors and administrators who bring a wealth of valuable experience in all aspects of landlord insurance, including both commercial and residential.
Bronja Whitlock - Insurance Team Manager
Bronja joined Mortgages for Business in September 2003 having previously worked at Nationwide Mortgage Centre, where she had initially joined to increase sales and awareness of house insurance and ASU (accident, sickness, unemployment) cover. She was also tasked with building up a team and headed the insurance training in the South East region.
Bronja now manages the Insurance for Landlords business and is tasked with promoting and developing our landlord insurance portfolio. Bronja liaises with all components of the transaction from clients to brokers and aims to make Mortgages for Business - the property insurance provider of choice.
Nicola Cornish - Insurance Executive
Nicola joined Insurance for Landlords in August 2006 with a wealth of knowledge. Nicola spent three years at General Insurance Brokers, Ashdown Partnership and worked on all departments, including Household, Motor and Commercial Insurance. During the last year of her career at Ashdown Partnerships, Nicola became team leader for the Household Department.
Prior to Ashdown Partnerships, Nicola worked for British Equestrian Insurance Brokers within the Livestock department and before that she was providing policies on travel insurance and car hire for Worldwide Travel Insurance.
Nicola Stotesbury - Insurance Executive
Nicola Stotesbury joined Insurance for Landlords in March 2004 and her initial job role involved promoting and selling insurance to Mortgages for Business clients as well as non Mortgages for Business clients. She now predominantly works on providing insurance policies for large portfolios, single properties and commercial properties.
Before working for Insurance for Landlords, Nicola worked for a Motor Finance Company for 15 years until she left due to redundancy. Nicola started as the Office Administrator, then became a Sales Representative and finally became a New Business Supervisor. Prior to this job, Nicola worked for Lloyds Bowmaker Finance Ltd after running her own Beauty Salon for a number years.
